Women's Fellowship & Men's Fellowship

WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP

The Women's Fellowship meets regularly in a local Scarborough restaurant or coffee house.    Please contact Edie Davidson with questions: edavidson@gwi.net.  Thank you.

Women’s Fellowship also has a monthly program.   All women of the church are welcome, so please come and join us!

 MEN’S FELLOWSHIP

The Men's Fellowship meets monthly in a local Scarborough restaurant or coffee house.  All the men of the church are welcome to join the meeting!  This is a wonderful time for fellowship and coffee.  Contact Dan Davidson to get on the email notification list or to ask any questions @ danprpro@gwi.net.

Craft Workshop

All are welcome to join us to work on crafts for our Christmas Fair in December. We meet on the first and third Thursday of the month downstairs in the Parish Hall. Come and create, have fun and enjoy the fellowship! Questions, call Susan Fielding @ 883-6239.

Pitch the Stitch

Join our sewing group! Weather permitting we meet on the third Wednesday of the month. Everyone is welcome to either sew, knit, quilt, or come to just visit. Questions contact Liane G 735-7478.

Long Range Planning
We are looking for volunteers for the Long-Term Plan activities for our church. If you are interested please contact one of the Plan Development Team members, Pam JoyRob Willey or Bob Barton.

Food Pantry & Offerings
The Scarborough Food Pantry is located in the Parish Hall (white building behind the church).  The Food Pantry Ministry is always looking for donations, so please consider weekly or monthly support.

Thanksgiving GIving Offering:  This year's offering will be dedicated to Hospice of Southern Maine, more specifically to the Hospice Center Campaign.  You will likely have noticed the much needed new facility under construction on Route 1 here in Scarborough.  Every donation to the Center from Oct 1 to Dec 31 will be matched dollar for dollar by the Elmina B. Sewall Foundation.  This organization provides hospice services throughout southern Maine with in-home care, as well as, in patient card at Gosnell Memorial House.  More to come on this.

News from Preble Street:  The folks at Preble Street extend their gratitude for the many donations of socks throughout the years and tell us that FCC has been one of their largest contributors.  The need for socks has spread through the community and resulted in a local retailer pledging a donation of 900 pairs for the coming year.
