The First Congregational Church of Scarborough has a very dedicated and supportive Women’s Fellowship Ministry that has been organized for over 29 years.

The purpose of the Women’s Fellowship of the First Congregational Church of Scarborough is to enjoy good times in fellowship, to grow in faith and understanding, to meet some of the needs of the church, and to respond to some of the world-wide needs.

All women are always welcomed and invited to join us.

The following is just a small sampling of the many activities this group performs:

• Organize the annual Church Christmas Fair
• Coordinate workshops for making fair items
• Meet for coffee hour once a month at local restaurants
• Distribute Birthday, Get Well and Sympathy cards for church members
• Offer catering of funeral receptions
• Funding and selection of the Pilgrim Lodge scholarship recipients
• Host pot luck suppers
• Sponsor presentations from local service agencies
• Participate in retreats at Marie Joseph Spiritual Center
• Provide donations to our Food Pantry including fresh vegetables in the summer
